Admission
Students are admitted at the beginning of the academic session starting from the month of April. Admission is made on the basis of the students' written test & interview for the essential class/subjects. A student who has attended a recognized school cannot be admitted without School Leaving Certificate from the school last attended and other essential documents.
Procedure
To register the child for admission in Delhi Public School, NTPC Farakka, the Registration Form should be completed and returned to the offce of the Principal.
The written test will include various subjects viz. English, Mathematics, Science, Hindi, Social Science, General Knowledge (Class and stream wise subject might differ as per the announcement). Those candidates who are successful and short-listed will be called for an interview with the Principal. A complete report from the child's present school is required to be presented at the time of interview.
Test
Admissions from Classes I - IX & XI are based on an admission test. After the completion of theoretical performance, communication skills and receptivity is tested by a viva-voce. The child's overall performance is gauged by the Admission Committee who determines the child's eligibility of admission.
